Academic Counseling

Learning Assistance

Most students find the academic demands of the U very challenging–even students who have excellent high school grades. Student Academic Success Services (SASS) helps students bring their academic abilities up to a University level of competence.

Students with less serious academic skills concerns may be looking for help around basic study skill improvement in areas such as how to read more efficiently, study better for tests, or manage time more effectively. Students who just want to meet once or twice to get information about topics such as these can set up a Learning Assistance appointment with a staff member from the Student Academic Success Services who can offer study skills feedback and written information about study skill improvement.
