University Community Response Team
The University Community Response Team, formerly known as the Death Response
Team, is an interdisciplinary group of campus professionals and faculty who
respond to campus groups affected by crises, primarily deaths or other
tragedies involving currently enrolled students. Teams assembled based on
the perceived needs of the affected groups respond 24/7, typically meeting
with affected students (and family members, when relevant) where they reside
on or near campus. Several UCCS counselors are members of the team; Bob Seybold
is the current convener of the group. Counselors interested in joining the
team are encouraged to contact Bob.
