All CLEP exams are offered on computer only. The computer-based CLEP is available year-round by appointment during open Testing Center hours. There are appointment times available on most weekdays and some Saturdays. Appointment times are 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm.

Registration and Fees

You can register on line, pay the test administration fee ($30 + $3 service fee) and schedule your CLEP test by clicking on the link above. You will pay the CLEP test fee ($77) at the time of your test with a credit/debit card or check.

All online registrations are final and no refunds will be given.

College Credit

Check with the college identified as your score recipient about policies in granting credit or acceptance of a specific test. For information about tests accepted for credit at the University of Minnesota, call 612 625-9886, or check the University's Admissions CLEP Policy.

Test Day Requirements

Take the following items with you to the Testing Center:

• Credit card, or check or money order made payable to "CLEP" for $77 per test
• Registration confirmation
• Two forms of ID: 1. A current driver's license, passport, state or federal ID, tribal ID, or naturalization card or certificate of citizenship, PLUS 2. A current employee ID, student ID, social security card, military ID, or an unused ID from the choices listed for #1.
