University Counseling & Consulting Services promotes student success through
Established in 1932, our services address a wide range of issues impacting student success, including:
|Mental health and life concerns||Learning and academic skills challenges|
|Career uncertainty||Faculty/staff-student communication|
As a staff we are committed to valuing diversity, honoring students, faculty, and staff from all racial, religious, and ethnic identities, sexualities, gender identities, and disability conditions.
UCCS has changed our procedures to allow many students to see a counselor the same day they are requesting a first-time counseling appointment. We've also expanded our hours to be open later. Please see our Appointments or News page for more information. We are also experiencing an unusually high demand for students requesting ongoing counseling. At this point the wait time for ongoing counseling can be as long as two weeks, depending on your availability. Please know that we will try to schedule ongoing counseling for you as quickly as possible. We can also work with you to connect you with counseling resources in the community, if you need long-term counseling or special services. Need a letter? Please see our policy.
