Student Counseling Services promotes student success through

  • Consultation to faculty, staff, and students

Established in 1932, our services address a wide range of issues impacting student success, including:

Career uncertainty  Faculty/staff-student communication

As a staff we are committed to valuing diversity, honoring students, faculty, and staff from all racial, religious, and ethnic identities, sexualities, gender identities, and disability conditions.

Our vision is a university where all students are empowered

to reach their personal, academic, and career goals.

What We Offer

Some thoughts on coping with recent terrorist events.

SCS now offers an online therapy program.

Student Counseling Services is currently experiencing an
extremely high demand for services. We are still available to meet
with students, and can offer a one-time meeting on the same day or
within a few days of completing your paperwork. We can also discuss
other resources–on campus or in the community–that may be helpful.
